My Name in TBR Books Tag

Hey guys! Today’s post is going to be short because I have to write a four-page essay. *Commence miniature melt-down*

(I’ve actually already finished the essay and am in the proof-reading stage. I’m just in the post-essay writing freak-out phase.)

The lovely Cat on the Bookshelf tagged me for this one exactly one month ago. (I’m so bad at doing tags in a timely matter. Don’t hate me.)

For this tag, you’re supposed to spell out your name with books on your TBR. Unfortunately, half of my TBR is floating somewhere in the great depths of my mind so this might be a bit tricky.

So, let us begin!

A- An Ember in the Ashes

R- Red Queen (Re-Read)

A- All The Wrong Questions

C- Carve The Mark

N- (The) Night Gardener (Re-Read)

I- Inkheart (Re-Read)

D- Divergent

W- Worlds Apart

A- Ace of Shades

Well, I failed that…

Can you guys think of any book recommendations for the missing letters? (Not that my TBR needs a growth spurt.)

  1. Greetings. To save your TBR growing even more, perhaps you’d like to watch Howl’s Moving Castle instead? (If you haven’t discovered it already.) I’ve not read the book so it could/will be different. But the movie is amazing!

  2. I don’t know if you’ve read these, but I’m going to list them anyway.
H – Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
E – Eragon by Christopher Paolini
V – Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
E – Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
R – (The) Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

      1. Eliza and Her Monsters is very good for its writing, the combination of Eliza’s webcomic with the text, and her mental health. I also like the fandom for her webcomic.

I liked Eragon in middle school, but I got annoyed with the whole series after I watched Episodes IV-VI of Star Wars last year. I think it’s probably still good.

      2. Dude, so sorry to butt in. But I see Howl’s Moving Castle, I haven’t read the book but I have read a little preview and loved the writing style, it flows easy and the writing is accessible and upbeat! You might (emphasis) enjoy it.

    1. Oh geez, when I saw “Howl’s Moving Castle” I immediately thought of the anime movie. I didn’t know it was adapted from a novel!
